Hugo SEDA

is currently pursuing a degree in French Horn performance from Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts; under the instruction of Dale Clevenger and Alice Render.

A native of Puerto Rico, Hugo moved to the Miami area when he was three, and has lived in the sunny city ever since. He began studies in horn when he was in 7th grade. He is a proud member of the International Horn Society and Il Club del Corno. He has had numerous freelancing opportunities with Florida International University's wind ensemble and orchestra, numerous orchestras around the miami area and has played in charity orchestra concerts. He attended the Brevard Music Center's season's in 2007 and 2008 and the American Horn Quartet's Summer workshop in 2007. He has played under such conductors as Michael Tilson Thomas, Carlos Riazuelo, Gary Green and Steven Smith to name a few.

In his spare time, Hugo listens to Mahler symphonies and Wagner operas.
